 Important Dates Last Day to submit Abstract / Paper / Presentation - July 14, 2018 Last date to Issue Notification of acceptance - July 19, 2018 Last date to submit final paper and authors' registration - July 25, 2018   Conference dates: August 14 - August 15, 2018   Note: Abstracts/Papers, acceptances issued on a rolling basis until July 10, 2018. Gender equality Official Invitation - Authors You   will   receive   the   admission   decision   or   paper/abstract   acceptance   within   5   days   (in   most   cases),   after   your application   or   abstract/paper   has   been   received.   The   official   invitation   (for   visa   purposes)   will   be   sent   to   you   the   next business   day   upon   receiving   a      full   registration   fee   or   sponsorship   letter   from   your   institute/organization   along   with   full paper.   Please   note   conference   registration   fee   cover   4   nights   accommodation   cost   and   will   be   arranged   at   the Carleton University. However, if you need a letter of acceptance to submit to your institute, please contact us.   Official Invitation Listeners/Observers If   you   will   participate   as   a   Listener/Observer   you   may   need   to   pay   the   full   registration   fee   or   be   required   to   submit   a     sponsorship   letter   from   your   institute   to   receive   an   official   invitation      (for   visa   purposes).   Please   note   conference registration fee cover 4 nights accommodation cost and will be arranged at the Carleton University.   Please submit  Official Invitation Request Form  in order to facilitate your request.   Cancellation Policy Where   the   registrant   is   unable   to   attend,   and   is   not   in   a   position   to   transfer   his/her   place   to   another   person   or   to another event, then the following refund arrangements apply: Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees. Registrations   cancelled   less   than   60   but   more   than   30   days   before   the   event   will   be   refunded   25%   of   the registration fees. Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.   Failed visa applicant from Academic Institutions If   you   are   unable   to   secure   a   visa,   you   may   be   required   to   submit   the   original   copy   of   the   visa   officer’s   decision   by mail.   OIDA   will   not   accept   faxed   or   scanned   copies.   However,   notification   must   be   received   by   us   in   writing   (email   or fax)   within   72   hours   of   the   commencement   of   the   program   for   refunds   to   be   eligible.   You   will   be         eligible   for   90%         of the   registration   fee   and   10%   will   be   retained   to   cover   the   cost   of   an   administration   fee.   Cancellations   received   after this cut-off time will not be eligible for refund.   Important note for failed visa applications Special Note: Clarification This   policy   applies   to   applicants   who   sponsored   by   the   academic   institutions   only.   All   other   applicants   will   follow general cancellation procedure.   All   requests   need   to   be   submitted   to   the   conference   secretariat   e-mail:   oida@ontariointernational.org    and   will   be considered   and   processed   once   the   conference   is   concluded. All   refunds   will   be   wire   transferred   into   beneficiary   bank account   and   subjected   to   administration   fees   and   bank   charges.   Please   fill   out      Refund   Request   Form          and   submit   to conference secretariat.
